Run Room Ceiling and Stub Tracks Tour

This photo tour runs from North to South in a clockwise direction. The photo numbers refer to the numbered arrows on the layout diagram.  The Ceiling and Stub Tracks are connected to the rest of the tracks via the Helix.

North

1.  Really long trains can be parked on the Stub Tracks.

Looking South

2. The single track Atlas Truss bridge top was expanded to fit the overhead track span.

Southern Set

3. Lionel 8309 Southern 2-8-2 (FARR Set #4)  This engine is parked on the lower inside Stub Track and has not been upgraded to TMCC or DCS

4. The top part of an Atlas 6920 3 rail Single Track Pratt Truss Bridge Kit was widened and installed. The bridge portion was used for the north lift bridge joining the main to the Trackside Industries.  Note the ChooChooCam receiver on top of the TV.

Helix Access

9. Ceiling track and Stub Tracks join the Helix track in this area.  The turnouts are numbered.

10. The Helix is double tracked and the inside track is used for parking.
